BNI (Business Network International) provides a structured and environment where you and other local professionals can generate more business by exchanging qualified referrals.
What's a qualified referral?
Let's start with what it's not: it's not a "lead" - a lead is little more than a phone number which you still have to cold call and hard sell your products or services. A referral means that the person you'll be speaking with has an existing need for your services and they've expressed wanting to talk to you
Belonging to BNI is like having dozens of sales people working for you. All the other members of your chapter carry your business card around with them, so that when they meet someone new that could use your products or services, they are able to hand your card out and recommend your services.
As you work with and learn more about your fellow members, you will be able to recommend their services with more and more assurance. You may find that in many instances new clients/customers will already want to work with you before you even speak to them, based purely on the great recommendation your chapter member has given you!

By establishing this "formal" relationship with other people within the BNI framework, you will have the opportunity to substantially increase your business. The methods used in each chapter are tried and true, based on many years of experience.
